Felix Zimmermann is a second-year Public History student at the University of Cologne. He played Yoshi’s Island on his SNES when he was 3 or 4. That’s when he fell in love with video games. Apart from studying he currently works at the radio station WDR 3 in the Jazz & World department and as a voluntary executive secretary for Radio Jazz Research. In the Arbeitskreis Geschichtswissenschaft und Digitale Spiele (Work Group History and Digital Games) he found fellow historians unraveling the historical fabric of video games.
